For longer distances you can connect up to 5 Extension Cables together for a maximum length of 50m! FireWire Repeater Cable for extending the cable length between FireWire devices over distances greater than the IEEE 1394b specified limit of 4.5m Up to 5 extension cables can be connected for a maximum distances of 50m (at longer distances your FireWire device must be self-powered) Supports IEEE 1394b devices at speeds of up to 800Mbit/sec Ideal for use with DV Camcorders FireWire printers scanners digital cameras etc. Compatible with Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS 8.6 and above 2 year warranty Note: Standard LINDY FireWire 800 Cables are available in lengths of up to 10m!
