Why use an RGB Only Scart Lead

An RGB only scart lead carries only RGB video from the source device such as a DVD player to the destination, normally a TV, LCD or Plasma. The reason an RGB only scart lead is better for RGB video is that there are no other signals within the cable bundle to crosstalk onto the video giving the ultimate purist video. As the RGB only scart lead only requires three coaxial cables there is room to make these cables larger which results in lower loss than a standard scart lead with smaller cables.
