Mini displayport, often abbreviated to MiniDP or MDP is a smaller version of the displayport connector, it has 20 pins and measures 7.5mm x 4.6mm with 2 corners chamferred. Due to its compact size it has become a popular video output connector on tablets, laptops and desktop PC video cards such as many of the Microsoft Surface tablets / laptops and some variants of Apple MacBook.
