Choosing a DisplayPort cable
DisplayPort is the main connection for PC monitors. DisplayPort 1.2 handles 4K at 60Hz, DisplayPort 1.4 handles 8K and high refresh rate 4K, and DisplayPort 2.1 (DP40 and DP80) suits current graphics cards and very high refresh rate monitors. For long runs, fibre optic DisplayPort cables keep full quality.
