UK kettle leads and IEC power cables for TVs, computers and monitors, with C13, hot condition C15, angled, C19 and splitter connectors. Check the socket on your equipment first.
7 options from £3.82 inc VAT.
A UK IEC power cable has a standard three pin BS 1363 plug at one end and an IEC connector at the other. The connector you need depends on the socket on your equipment: C13 for most PCs, monitors, printers and network kit, C15 for kettles and warm-running equipment, and C19 for high power servers and UPS units.
Every UK plug contains a fuse. Leads for computer and AV equipment are normally fitted with a 5A fuse, while leads that carry heavier loads, such as C19 cables, use a 13A fuse.
Measure the route from the wall socket to the equipment and allow a little slack. A lead that is too long ends up coiled behind furniture, which looks untidy and can trap heat.
