OM4 LC-SC Multimode Duplex Fibre Patch Lead, 10m, Aqua

A duplex OM4 fibre lead with LC-SC connectors, made with high-bandwidth 50 micron multimode (50/125) fibre. Duplex means two fibres side by side: one to send and one to receive, which is what switch and media converter ports expect. It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 400 metres and 40/100 Gigabit up to 150 metres. OM4 is the usual pick for new data centre and server room cabling, and is fully compatible with OM3 equipment and patch panels.

LC is the small push-and-click connector found on SFP and SFP+ transceivers, modern switches and high-density patch panels. SC is a square push-pull connector, common on older switches, media converters and fibre wall outlets. This lead joins the two types without a separate adapter. Aqua is the standard jacket colour for laser-optimised multimode fibre.
