OM5 LC-LC Multimode Duplex Fibre Patch Lead

Connect fibre equipment with this OM5 duplex patch lead, terminated LC-LC and built on wideband 50 micron multimode (50/125) fibre. Duplex means two fibres side by side: one to send and one to receive, which is what switch and media converter ports expect. It supports 10 Gigabit and above over the same distances as OM4, plus short-wave wavelength division (SWDM) so 40 and 100 Gigabit can run over a single duplex pair. OM5 is backwards compatible with OM3 and OM4 optics, so it can be used today and still suit faster SWDM transceivers later.

LC is the small push-and-click connector found on SFP and SFP+ transceivers, modern switches and high-density patch panels on both ends. Lime green is the standard jacket colour for OM5.
