A satellite cable with an F plug at each end connects a satellite wall plate to a Sky, Freesat or satellite receiver, or links equipment such as a splitter or multiswitch. Screw the plugs on finger tight for a secure connection.
Which length?
Measure from the wall plate to the receiver and allow some slack for moving the box. Lengths of a few metres suit most living rooms; longer cables reach across a room or into an adjoining one.
