Fitting safely
Power connectors must be fitted by a competent person, using flexible cable of the correct size for the rating: typically 0.75mm or 1.0mm for 10A and 1.5mm for 16A. Make sure earth, live and neutral are connected correctly and the cable is held firmly in the cord grip. Fit a UK plug with a fuse to suit the appliance.
