Modem and router cables
Modem cables connect a broadband router or modem to the phone line. Most routers have an RJ11 socket, while UK phone sockets and microfilters take a BT plug, so choose RJ11 to RJ11 or BT to RJ11 to suit both ends.
Use the shortest practical lead and keep it away from mains cables; long or poor quality leads can reduce broadband speeds.
