OM3 LC-LC Multimode Duplex Fibre Patch Lead, 8m, Aqua

Connect fibre equipment with this OM3 duplex patch lead, terminated LC-LC and built on laser-optimised 50 micron multimode (50/125) fibre. One fibre carries the transmit signal and the other the receive signal, the arrangement used by almost all fibre transceivers. It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 metres and 40/100 Gigabit (parallel optics) up to 100 metres. OM3 is a dependable all-rounder for server rooms, comms cabinets and building backbones, and works with OM4 links as both use a 50 micron core.

LC is the small push-and-click connector found on SFP and SFP+ transceivers, modern switches and high-density patch panels on both ends. Aqua is the standard jacket colour for laser-optimised multimode fibre. Orange and Blue and Pink and Violet jackets are handy for colour-coding separate systems or customers in a shared rack.
